Welcome to Warrior Women Blog!
I’m Karen, the heart and voice behind Warrior Women Blog. With over 30 years of experience in social work, including 21 years in hospice care, and a Master’s degree in Christian Counseling, I’ve dedicated my life to supporting women through life’s challenges.
I started this blog to help other women grow a stronger faith, find peace and joy regardless of your circumstances, and become prayer warriors for your families.
My journey has taken me from nursing homes, and hospital bedsides to patient’s homes, and now to this digital space where I can share God’s love with you. As a Christian counselor and Sunday School teacher, I’ve had the privilege of working with women in various stages of life, helping them navigate the complexities of marriage, parenting teenagers, relating to adult children, and embracing the joys and challenges of being a grandparent.
I’m passionate about equipping you with the spiritual armor needed to face life’s battles, whether in your personal faith walk, marriage, family relationships, or caregiving roles. My experience has shown me that strong, faith-filled women are the cornerstone of resilient families and communities.
At Warrior Women Blog, I blend biblical wisdom with practical insights, drawing from my professional experience and personal faith journey. My goal is to help you find strength in God’s Word, peace in His presence, and purpose in your daily life – especially as you navigate the intricate dynamics of family relationships across generations.
When I’m not writing or working, you can find me camping, playing with my grandkids, and enjoying quality time with my own family.
I believe that every Christian woman has the potential to be a warrior for Christ, standing firm in faith while nurturing her family and caring for others. I’m honored to be part of your journey as together, we put on the full armor of God and face life’s challenges with grace and strength.

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow – not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” Romans 8:38 NLT
Becoming a woman of faith is a lifelong process. God is faithful and He will never leave us or forsake us.
Philippians 1:6 "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." NLT

Make no mistake. We are in a battle every single day. The enemy does not take a day off, and we can’t either.
Ephesians 6:12 "For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places."
Let’s face it, life isn’t always easy, is it? God allows us to walk down hard paths sometimes.
That doesn’t mean He doesn’t love you. When we put our lives in God’s hands, we can be sure He will work even the hardest things for our good when we love Him.
